The Engineering Operations team is responsible for the alignment and execution of engineering programs, initiatives, and deliverables across our multiple teams, projects, and partners.   This team will play a critical role in driving the engineering organization to achieve a high level of operational efficiency, agility, and adaptability.  

As a Systems Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead the engineering efforts to define, plan, execute and track deliverables across all engineering product development.  You will work with engineering leaders to structure and lead large initiatives across the organization to increase the communication, collaboration, and execution velocity of product development.  Your extensive experience and capabilities will help create and execute simplified processes that apply to software and hardware systems, cloud and mobile applications, and “as-a-service” business models.

You will proactively identify obstacles and mitigate risk to drive momentum and progress, support critical conversations and decision-making to accelerate our timelines, and help make the necessary tradeoffs to meet our aggressive dates so that the resulting deliverables have the highest quality while meeting customer and business unit expectations. You will partner with engineering leaders in hardware, systems, software, cloud, embedded engineering, machine learning, and system safety to drive the technical engineering work and deliverables. You will also work with our internal, cross-functional teams from product management, operations, procurement, legal, and finance in a fast-paced, business, technology, and operations environment to create, launch, evolve, and support our products.

•    Plan and manage large, complex engineering programs in parallel, championing speed, quality, accountability, and customer-first mindset.
•    Drive the overall program delivery through all lifecycle phases, working with other TPMs as well as engineering architects, managers, and leads
•    Manage risks across your program to ensure the implementation plans meet product requirements and strategic objectives
•    Communicate effectively to inform and influence team members and stakeholders to advocate for the needs and ensure the success of your program
•    Identify process issues and seize opportunities to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop timely improvements
•    Interact with customers on feedback, escalations and pilots
•    Your key decisions are data-driven, understood, and communicated in a timely manner
•    Proactively coach other TPMs to improve their skills

Additional Description


  • 9+ years of experience as a TPM, with at least 3 years of experience as a Senior TPM, within a technology company leading large engineering programs involving solutions that combine the development of hardware platforms and software mobile or cloud applications
  • Experience as the lead TPM of hardware and/or software NPI programs
  • Experience executing engineering initiatives and rolling our major process changes
  • Experience with delivering products using both waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience presenting program status and escalations to senior executives
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree or experience
