Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and customer driven Forecasting Manager to support the Bright Drop/GM organizations by driving cross functional alignment on demand forecasts for Zevo vehicles, Trace delivery carts, and software.     In this role you will build strong partnerships and work closely with the Bright Drop Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing teams and the GM North American Market Analysis/Product Planning teams.  These relationships/partnerships will provide critical qualitative and quantitative inputs to inform short and long term forecasts that enable each functional area to plan based on a common forecast.    

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Own the vehicle/non-vehicle forecast process and execution from creation to completion.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, GM North American Market Analysis, Product Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to obtain qualitative and quantitative inputs for forecast analytics.
  • Develop, and execute processes that support cross functional forecast collaboration.
  • Develop and manage processes/systems/analytics that deliver short term, medium term, and long-term forecasts for the Zevo, Trace, and software. 
  • Analyze data, create forecasts, and present to leadership team.
  • Continuously improve data sources and processes to reduce forecast error.
  •  Lead quarterly forecast reviews with key stakeholders at Bright Drop and GM. 
  • Create standards and metrics to track forecast quality and drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of complex forecast management experience.  OEM or BTB/OEM consulting practice experience preferred
  • Strong analytic, quantitative and forecasting skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort working complex problems with tight deadlines
  • Experience working within a multiple stakeholder model and holding them accountable for deliverables
  • Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners at all levels

Education & Experience: 

  • B.S./B.A. Required
  • MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
