Description
The Engineering Operations team is responsible for the alignment and execution of engineering programs, initiatives, and deliverables across our multiple teams, projects, and partners. This team will play a critical role in driving the engineering organization to achieve a high level of operational efficiency, agility, and adaptability.
As an Engineering Software Scrum Master , you will work with software Agile teams to build, deploy and evolve tools, products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers and our company. You will also help these teams improve their efficiency, design and development speed, as well as the overall quality, performance, and scaling aspects of the software products.
Responsibilities:

Lead Agile activities, including sprint planning and grooming sessions, daily stand-ups, and sprint demo and closeout sessions

Be an effective facilitator within each Agile POD to foster brainstorming and collaboration, to tackle roadblocks and create solutions that add value for our customers

Work with product managers and POD technical leads to ensure the release and sprint backlogs are groomed, updated and ready for development

Develop and maintain metrics dashboards across sprints, program increments and release cycles to demonstrate team progress and highlight areas for improvement

Lead Agile POD team members to improve sizing estimates and improve overall velocity and productivity

Develop a team culture of continuous improvement and simplification, constant communication and collaboration, and personal accountability

Represent PODs in planning and scrum or scrums sessions
Additional Description

Working knowledge of Agile scaling methodologies as well as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban
-
4-5 years of experience as a software Scrum Master for engineering software teams within a technology company
-
Experience handling bug triaging and sustaining enhancements in an Agile development environment

Experience adapting to various Agile tools
-
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
-
Proven organizational, time management, planning and prioritization skills
-
High technical literacy with a strong ability to utilize software tools to accomplish daily and long-range tactical and operational objectives

Open to learning and adopt new things
-
Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and rapid changes

Data-driven analysis skills for measuring and managing delivery

Must have a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree or experience

Must have CSM certification (SAFe certification is a plus)

Must have experience working with DevOps teams on infrastructure development within a cloud environment

Experience working with software teams to improve adaptations of the Agile methodology is a plus

Experience with project management is a plus

The expected base compensation for this role is: (90,223 - 144,123 USD Annual). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
